Moabite. Gleaner. Vow that became liturgy in weddings. Boaz is admirable; Ruth’s hesed is the engine. David’s great-grandmother is a foreign woman who chose Israel’s God.
Palace skill + fasting + timing. “If I perish, I perish” is not romance; it is vocation under threat. Providence that never names God in the book still runs through a woman’s nerve.

You do not need to become a man to matter in this faith. You need the same thing they needed: courage, truth, and a God who writes women into the plot on purpose. Proud to be women. Proud to be Christians. Amen.
